Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Beausol’s platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”) and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use our Service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and a legal resident of Nigeria to use Beausol. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.
3. Producer Obligations
If you list as a producer, your solar installation must be safety-certified and meet Beausol technical requirements. You must allow installation of a Beausol smart meter and maintain accurate pricing.
4. Consumer Obligations
If you use Beausol as a consumer, you agree to pay for energy received per platform billing schedules. You must maintain a valid payment method on file. Failure to pay may result in service suspension.
5. Pricing and Payments
Pricing is dynamic and varies based on supply, demand, and time of day. Beausol charges a service fee on each transaction (currently 8% to producers). All prices are in Nigerian Naira (₦).
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Nigerian law, Beausol’s total liability to you is limited to the fees paid by you to Beausol in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for grid failures or third-party damages.
7. Dispute Resolution
Disputes are first handled through our internal process. Unresolved disputes with Beausol are subject to binding arbitration in Abuja, Nigeria, under the Arbitration and Mediation Act.
8. Compliance
Beausol is licensed by the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) under the embedded generation framework. All trades comply with national electricity laws and tax obligations are reported per FIRS guidelines.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
